Our chums at Amazon in the UK are currently not showing shipping to the Great State of Michigan. What’s preventing these from being licensed and reissued? Definitely a want!!!! Just a suggestion. Signed CD box will be on Amazon US (and Germany, I believe) soon. Been too long since I listened to the full album. *sigh* another great box set that I can’t afford. What a price for a 24cd box set!!! Gonna need them after listening to the whole thing! Just look at that sleeve. Still waiting on the standard one to show up there. Ex-frontman of Hüsker Dü and all-around punk rock legend Bob Mould hasn’t skipped a beat since he and the boys took Minneapolis by storm in the late 70s. Man, what a killer set!! Bob mould has always been one of my favorite artist. Clear vinyl is notorious for sounding bad, and every single disc – while beautiful – is pressed on clear vinyl. I bought as many of their singles, albums, and bootleg cassettes I could find. With this, Mansun, Divine Comedy, Pineapple Thief and The Stones SDEs all on order I think I’m sorted for the rest of 2020. wow… i was able to order the signed version from amazon us for $90.09… then looked a few minutes later and it was $134.99… still a bargain for 24 cds, book, signed print… but wow – $45 increase! I was able to get it when it first went on sale for less than $100, so I’m happy about that! The last time I saw Bob Mould the guy behind me had a cell phone up. Also looks like the release date for both sets has moved back from 2 October to 23 October, as per the DMG site and Amazon. However, Amazon just sent me an email saying they are still trying to obtain the signed edition (and the link specifically to the signed edition still has no release date). IMO all artists & venues should do a ‘Kate Bush’ and ban the use of such equipment at all gigs. Oh wow. You’re filming. I have just one Bob Mould track in my collection. Only saw Hüsker Dü once – early on in the SST years in the basement of a dining hall at Syracuse University – very loud, very fast, very raucas, in other words GREAT. This one has been quite an adventure. One of my all time heroes. Andy B, it doesn’t. Thanks. Seems unlikely, but I don’t know). Bob Mould – Workbook This may help to mask the fact that there is precious little new audio material for old fans. Always found him very pleasant and talkative. Until Greg Ginn (of Black Flag) dies (or maybe later), there will likely never be a box set containing Hüsker Dü’s SST years, as so far he has not allowed nearly all of the albums relased on that label (which he OWNS) to be re-released or even re-mastered in any form. … it’s really a shame how pathetic many of these dudes get in their old days; e.g. More availability for signed Bob Mould
